How to become a child once again

“Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.” – Walt Disney

Times are tough coupled with tension and stress. It’s a time to take care of ourselves, we might feel drained, depressed, and alone. All the stress factored up leads to quick aging. I asked a lady recently what her secret for anti-aging is and she told me that she tries her best to hang around people younger than her by age! Can you imagine that! Sounds exciting if you are into thrilling random topics, so I found this intriguing and hilarious at the same time. She said, stop being around the mature crowd all the time! so many people carry out themselves with a lot of maturity which is a good thing but we forget that sometimes we need to let our inner child out, well, if you are rigid you might deny yourself from exploring your inner child but then again everybody is hustling and adulting is tough.

We should at least try and create time to connect with our inner baby mode that is neglected and forgotten. since I don’t want to age I will make it an effort to be around younger people than me. I think I am already doing it subconsciously. A mature group is mostly uptight and focusing on goal crushing or politics, people also have bills to pay don’t get me wrong we can still connect with our inner child nonetheless. I would imagine a happier you and a more productive being after letting yourself lose a bit. Being around a youthful crowd makes you more zestful. There is some thrill in being free once in a while or as many times as one wishes! Try and picture the benefits that come with acting youthful and being playful. well, it’s time to start thinking of creating a balance in our lives!

A child is active and plays all the time, kids are rarely bored, now let’s think like a child, she doesn’t care what anybody thinks of her, she doesn’t even notice because she is a child, why not be like a child for a few minutes and let your inner child know that she is still loved and cared for. You want to explore all the possibilities and the magic that is around you. Close your eyes swing around and connect with that inner spirit, make her happy.

do more play and you will never be the dull Jane. Go to the park with your friends, jump around, play any silly active games, you don’t even need to think too hard about what games you’ll play, just invent anything and be like a child at the moment. When we stay active our brains produce endorphins and dopamine this is good for us as our brain releases any chemical that is likely to cause us stress and anxiety, so we know a simple theory now that when we play or stay active we will be less stressed this means longer life and looking younger who doesn’t want to age like fine wine. with this, you won’t even need to buy anti-aging products.

We all have an inner child, it’s the only part of us that is untouched sometimes due to all the life pressure and day-to-day stress. We seem to have forgotten how to be in touch with her. Start with a simple task like laughing, it’s therapeutic, you see how babies laugh without a care in the world, start your inner child challenge by laughing every day for one minute. This might just be one of the new habits am trying this year, why not! and pen down all the benefits that I experience. Let us be silly and tickle that baby energy once in a while.

I have shared some fun kids activities that you can do as grown-ups. The goal is to have fun like a child and to connect with your innermost child. It should be therapeutic and I hope you’ll enjoy.
